Dimensional Control Engineer
Due to continuous demand from clients to deploy our digital twin software, we are seeking an experienced Dimensional Control Engineer preferably with experience in setting out control networks on FPSO’s and similar assets to join our rapidly growing Digital Assets team based in Aberdeen.
Reporting directly to the Digital Assets Manager, the role plays a pivotal part in the success and growth of scaling our digital twin software platform, AS-TEG™ across international on and offshore industrial process plants in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Thermal, Petrochemical and renewable sectors.

• Assist in preparing survey and scanning equipment for shipping including pre-survey checks, reporting issues by exception to Digital Assets Manager / Office Manager.
• Attend presurvey meetings to discuss scope of work and outline of expectations.
• Complete client required training for site specific requirements.
• Assist in reviewing risk assessments and method statements to ensure compliance with company and ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards.
• Complete dimensional control surveys as directed by Digital Assets Manager. Produce daily report and resolve technical issues with onsite teams during survey.
• Ensure that all survey work that is carried out is completed within estimated budget and timescales.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members as highlighted by the Digital Assets Manager.
• Resolve survey queries.
• Assist in preparing survey scope of works and man hour reviews.
• Process survey data in line with eserv company procedures.
• Complete QA / QC of survey calculations, processing and deliverables following procedures.
• Issue deliverables and ensure data is backed up per eserv company processes.
• Efficiently deliver the captured data back to the eserv office for data processing.
• Familiar in undertaking laser scanning and subsequent processing of data, using Leica Register360 and Autodesk ReCap.
• Both: Familiar with processing survey calculations using Geonet.
• Both: Experience in completing piping surveys for spool replacements.

• Degree level or equivalent, with relevant experience or
• HNC / HND in relevant subject or equivalent with relevant considerable experience
• Proficient in various applicable design software systems and Microsoft packages
