Following a recommendation from another FPSO O&M client, the AS-TEG digital twin by eserv was implemented to address the growing integrity backlog and construction failure to fit challenges. These issues were exacerbated by logistical constraints, including limited offshore bed space for personnel.

Project: Brownfield FPSO

Year Deployed: 2021

Asset Age: 19 Years

Estimated ROI to date:

  • $4,368,000 tangible savings

  • 10.5 tonnes of CO2 saved

  • 2,038 beds freed up

How the ROI was achieved:

  • Digitised and simplified the management of change for process module installation and associated piping rework.

  • Consolidated integrity management data and created a comprehensive workstream which fostered a more collaborative approach to asset integrity.

  • Leveraging eserv’s AS-TEG platform, the team produced over 1,900 engineering deliverables without the need for an offshore trip.

  • Enhanced collaboration by addressing disjointed engineering data sources between asset management teams and third-party vendors.

  • Successfully achieved a 100% first-time fit record by implementing digital engineering practices, eliminating the costly and time-consuming process of repeat surveys and fixes.
